How does one respond to the call to take 600 kids on a Spring Break to India? How does one ensure that inner-city kids have access to the Children's Museum? How does one scribe '000s of holiday greeting cards, ensuring one of Memphis' most valued non-profit healthcare provider continues its mission to provide comprehensive healthcare irrespective of patient's income and citizenship status?

YES (by creating a mini-India experience with food, music, crafts). YES (by leveraging our grant to provide that access). YES (with dedicated volunteers who painstakingly check each and every greeting card)!

Over the past two decades, the Indian Community Fund for Greater Memphis (ICFGM) has worked with many Memphis based non-profits on impactful community projects. Local recipients have included the National Civil Rights Museum (NCRM), Metropolitan Interfaith Association (MIFA), Memphis Botanic Garden, Children's Museum of Memphis (CMOM), Germantown Performing Arts Center (GPAC), Neighborhood Christian Centers, former Caritas Village, Wolf River Conservancy, Midsouth Food Bank, Boys & Girls Club, and the list goes on.

Overall, we have contributed more than one million dollars to many Memphis-based causes and organizations, reflecting approximately $800,000 of charitable gifts, and thousands of volunteer hours, which is equivalent to $500,000 of labor. These have been donated to projects within the community. ICFGM aims to have an ongoing positive impact on our community.
