Mentor Memphis is a movement that has a long -term effort to build a sense of community in order to help reduce crime, inspire compassion, and create a positive path for Memphis youth. City Of Memphis employees have the opportunity to participate with select local mentoring programs to help develop successful, dedicated leaders for tomorrow, to continue to improve the quality of life for Memphians, every day.

• Memphis Pink Palace Museum: Free on Tuesdays from 1pm – 5pm
• Memphis Zoo: Free on Tuesdays from 2pm – closing
• National Civil Rights Museum: Free on Mondays from 3pm – closing

On Wednesday, February 12th, Mentor Memphis will be hosting a Lunch & Learn event with our partnering organizations. The event will take place at City Hall in the 2nd Floor Conference Room and will run from 11:30am to 12:45pm. This is a great opportunity to learn more about Mentor Memphis as well as most of the organizations that we partner with. Tomorrow is "I AM a Mentor Day"!! This is a day for volunteer mentors to celebrate their role as a mentor and to reflect on ways your mentee(s) have enhanced their world. I am asking that all active mentors please use this platform to express your journey with your mentee here!! I am also on the look out of highlighting mentors for the great work they are doing in the youth community!! Keep up the good work.
