Community Days

During the first two weekends of September, 2018, 50 or more congregations all across Shelby County will partner in groups of two or more to do projects to benefit the community. The model for this unique project is Germantown's popular Labor of Love, started in 2014 on Labor Day, when five neighboring congregations joined together to serve. Some congregations may partner based on geographic proximity, others based on pre-existing relationships or a desire to experience greater diversity. In every case, there is the opportunity to build or enhance transformative relationships which can continue and thrive to make us all better neighbors to each other
