Carpenter's House Opportunities

The Carpenter's House is a sanctuary for urban ministry. Currently, it is a space shared by Room in the Inn, Urban Bicycle Food Ministry, and Iona Community of Faith's Burrito Ministry as a headquarters for all three ministries.

Room in the Inn uses this building as the check-in and transportation hub for our guests during our emergency shelter seasons (Nov-Mar, May-Sept).

Room in the Inn also operates a Day Center in this space on Tues - Thurs afternoons from 1-4pm.

Volunteers may sign up to help us share holy hospitality with our guests during any available shifts. Please read the full descriptions of each shift and contact if you have any questions before arriving.

If you are looking to serve with Urban Bicycle Food Ministry, you can find their events here.
