Students and their teachers will be treated to some old fashioned fun in the Garden!

The will make some traditional harvest crafts including cider making, pumpkin painting and corn husk flowers. Discovery stations teach fun facts about fruit and vegetables, honey making, and seed dispersal. Volunteers will assist staff in guiding groups of students and teachers through activities designed to educate!

Requirement Details
Wear comfortable shoes and clothes that can get dirty.
Bug spray and sunscreen if needed.

Clothing or accessories may not display offensive, vulgar language or images,
nor promote inappropriate and/or illegal products such as alcohol, tobacco, and
illegal drugs. No shorts or skirts shorter than four (4) inches above the knee are allowed.Shirts, blouses, and dresses must completely cover the abdomen, back, and shoulders. No midriff or undergarments visible. The Garden Staff reserves the right to determine whether a volunteer's attire
and appearance are within the limits of decency, modesty, and safety.

Expectations: Volunteers are required to complete all Hold Harmless agreements before participating in the volunteer event, including parent/guardian signatures for minors. Volunteers are also expected to comply to all Memphis Botanic Garden standards and staff/representative instructions. Failure to comply may result in removal from volunteer activity and non-verification of volunteer hours.
