The school library has been reserved all day on Tuesday, February 12, 2018 for this event (7:15 am – 2:15 pm). If I get many supporters, each interviewer can schedule a time during the day to be with us. The students will prepare various business & employment documents. They are also required to dress in business attire for the interview process. Each interviewer is expected to find any opportunity to offer feedback and constructive criticism to the students during their interview.
One of the complaints I often hear from business and industry is that our students leave high school unprepared for the workforce. You can provide them with valuable information about employer expectations and workplace success. You can also heighten their awareness of the importance of developing 21st century skills that are sort by employers.
Please find time in your busy schedule to help us with the mock interview project. The activity will help you gain an understanding of the school system -- whose health is vital for the economic well-being of the local area. Our school day begins at 7:15 a.m. and runs through 2:15 p.m. If there is time in your schedule during this timeframe, please make plans to join us! I am also attaching the schedule for each class period. If possible, plan to stay the entire day. Also, free feel to invite others who might possibly be interested in supporting.

1st 7:15 a.m. – 8:10 a.m.
2nd 8:15 a.m. – 9:03 a.m.
3rd 9:08 a.m. - 9:56 a.m. MY PLANNING PERIOD – NO STUDENTS --- there will be a workshop for any parents who are interested in developing career readiness skills (resume writing, job interviewing, etc.)
4th 10:01 a.m. – 10:49 a.m.
5th 10:49 a.m. – 11:11 a.m. (A Lunch)
11:14 a.m. – 11:36 a.m. (B Lunch) --- my students eat on B Lunch
11:39 a.m. – 12:01 p.m. (C Lunch) –my students return to class
12:04 p.m. – 12:26 p.m. (D Lunch)
6th 12:31 p.m. – 1:19 p.m.
7th 1:24 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.
