Starry Nights Afterglow at Shelby Farms Park 2026

Starry Nights at Shelby Farms Park is a bright and fun experience, full of lights and holiday magic!  This holiday event has been shining brightly for more than a decade, and cruising through the lights is a long-standing holiday tradition for thousands of families. It’s also the Park’s largest annual fundraiser. This year's show promises to be brighter than ever!

Volunteer positions at this event are critical to its success and are an excellent way to give back to ensure that Shelby Farms Park and Shelby Farms Greenline remain clean, green, and safe 365 days a year.

Volunteers are needed to help at Starry Nights with tasks including greeting and interacting with visitors, directing traffic, assisting in the event check in areas, and spreading holiday cheer.

VOLUNTEERS:
- must be age 15+
- must be able to complete the ENTIRE shift. This is a night event with late end times, so if transportation is a challenge, we ask that you volunteer at another Park event. If your family is volunteering together, younger volunteers are welcome to serve alongside a parent/guardian.
- must wear the provided safety vest during the entire shift.

VOLUNTEER TIPS:
- DRESS WARM!  **You will be outside for the majority of the shift**  You will want to bundle up with layers, such as gloves, warm socks, hats, etc.
- If you are getting a ride (not driving yourself), please contact your driver about 30 minutes before your shift is over so that you are picked up on time.
- Remember to eat before your shift! You may bring a snack or water with you.

After you complete your shift, you’ll be emailed a voucher to the show.

Starry Nights is a great opportunity for schools, corporate, church, or community groups to volunteer and serve together! If you have a large group wanting to volunteer, please email tickets@shelbyfarmspark.com to sign up.
