Join Wolf River Conservancy staff for our Fourth Saturday Service Project in the Wolf River Watershed!
On July 28th, we will return to the Epping Way location of the Wolf River Greenway to install nest boxes for chickadees, prothonotary warblers, and bluebirds, and to put up a bat house. We will also water newly planted trees, cut the grass at the entrance, and do some removal of exotic invasive plants. We'll start at 8:30am to beat the heat, and work until 11 or 11:30am for those who want to arrive later. We'll bring the tools and gloves that we have, but you're always welcome to bring your own.
Please wear close-toed shoes for safety and clothing appropriate for the weather. Be sure to bring PLENTY of water to drink and any other needed supplies (allergy medications, sunscreen, hat, insect repellent, etc.).
