About
Look for the WEENIE RACE BANNERS AND SIGNS WHEN YOU ARRIVE. We will be at the horseshow arena near the pavilion. If you are lost please ask someone that is wearing a blue FOTGAS or Weenie Race t-shirt which direction to go. The 2025 Running of the Weenies Race and Best Dressed Hotdog Contest is fast approaching! The Germantown Animal Shelter needs volunteers to help man the "Friends of The Germantown Animal Shelter" booth, which includes selling T-shirts and giving basic information, which will be provided to volunteers prior to their shifts. The shelter also has limited shifts available for volunteers for the race and best dressed contest.
Volunteers will be required to stand or sit for up to 4 hours at a time. This event is rain or shine, so in the event of rain, appropriate attire is recommended. Shorts, jeans, or any other comfortable bottoms are acceptable. Tennis shoes or any other comfortable shoes are acceptable.
