About

Our annual Earth Day Festival on April 19th kicks off a long term project for Shelby Farms Park, the Pollinator Trail Project. This project aims to enhance a currently underutilized area of Shelby Farms Park by transforming it into a vibrant, ecologically rich space with native plantings along the Chickasaw Trail. This segment, which connects the park to the Greenline, will become a key feature of the park’s conservation efforts while also enhancing visitor experience. The project will rely on volunteers over the next 6-9 months, including dedicated planting days and other adjacent projects beginning with Earth Day on April 19th.

Thank you to Memphis City Beautiful and The Tree Works for their assistance with the start of this project!
