Wolf River Conservancy (Sept. 22nd)

Open Opportunity

Positions1 Remaining
The Wolf River Conservancy owns this 100-acre property, called Epping Way, in Raleigh near the corner of North Highland and State James Road. Epping Way will be one of the signature pieces along the transformative Wolf River Greenway project. Although it has a beautiful 20 acre lake surrounded by woods and a soy bean field, it certainly requires a lot of sweat equity to maintain this critical property. We would suggest a three hour service project on the Epping Way property to help with trash pick-up, clearing invasive privet and helping with other landscaping needs. The service project would be led by Ryan Hall, our Lands Protection Associate, and we would also be happy to conclude with a quick tour for IP employees on what this transformative space will become once the Wolf River Greenway is built.
