Description
With over 75% of the human brain developing before age 5, early childhood education is the best investment possible to develop a community's future, and Porter-Leath's Preschool program uses this time to best prepare students for kindergarten and beyond; this is extremely important given the link between kindergarten readiness and future outcomes related to economic opportunities, lower crime, and other factors that break the cycle of generational poverty.

IP volunteers will spend the morning in a
Porter-Leath Preschool classroom at the Early Childhood Academy with up to 20 children, and then play the "Brain Architecture Game" to showcase the importance of early childhood education.
Parking DetailsTransportation will be provided to and from International Paper.
