The St. Paul Garden is located in the 38126 zip code and is a half-acre space designed as a demonstration garden that showcases diverse growing methods and produce varieties. We are seeking volunteers for Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8am-12pm.
The garden utilizes raised bed and in-ground planting, growing a combination of seasonal herbs, vegetables, and fruits. Volunteers in the St. Paul garden will engage in all types of growing activities from planting, harvesting, and washing produce; garden maintenance such as weeding, pruning, and picking up trash; and other unique garden activities such as feeding worms and harvesting worm castings.

Must complete Memphis Tilth volunteer orientation; the event manager will contact interested volunteers about upcoming orientation dates.
This volunteer position requires working outside in a garden, sometimes during hot summer months.
|Perks||Volunteers will receive hands-on training, learning basic gardening skills and strengthening their tie to our local food system by helping to increase access to healthy, fresh food. Any level of gardening experience is welcome!|
|Parking Details||There is plenty of parking in front of the Memphis Tilth office (575 Suzette), around the corner from the St. Paul Garden.|
