About

The Memphis Botanic Garden is seeking a team of outgoing and friendly volunteers to form the PAL (play and learn) Docent Team. PAL Docents will do a variety of activities including greeting families, keeping the garden area tidy, handing out information, answering guest questions, and engaging with the children via crafts, storytelling, and other ad-hoc programming. If you feel like this is a good fit for you, register for one of our information sessions! You only need to attend one session.

 This opportunity will require additional training and a background check.

-Volunteers must commit to volunteering at least once per month

-Volunteers must be able to walk, sit, and stand for up to 2 hours at a time

-Volunteers must consent to a background check and attend additional training for the role.
