The National Education Association's Read Across America is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on March 2, the birthday of beloved children's author Dr. Seuss.  

Porter-Leath needs volunteers at various preschool locations throughout Shelby County to come and read a books in the classrooms and help with arts & crafts activities that day that promote early childhood literacy.

Individual and group volunteers are welcome!
