Reading to D'White & DJ

D'White is a blind albino raccoon, and DJ is his developmentally stunted best friend. They're both education ambassadors for Out of the Woods! This means they get treated a little differently from all of our other critters. 

Normally, animals in our care receive minimal human interaction, because they will need to stay wild to be released back into nature. But these boys are special! Since they can't live on their own in the wild, we're giving them the life of a spoiled rotten education ambassador. 

This means they needs lots of socialization and interaction with other people. That's where you come in. 

Grab your favorite book, cozy up outside their condo, and spend an hour reading to them. They doesn't care what type of book you read. They're just interested in your voice. 

This is a hands-off role. We won't ask you to clean any cages, but we do ask that you keep your fingers to yourself and outside of all enclosures at all times. All animals are very sharp.
