Many of our girls face challenges that are exasperated by the current COVID-19 health crisis. Girls Inc. of Memphis is doing everything we can do safely support our families. From food and grocery drives to virtual programming, we are in their corners! However, we need YOUR help to bring a smile to their faces. Anytime until we reopen, we invite you to write a letter to our girls. Tell them your best joke, share words of wisdom, or just say hi! Address the letters to our Admin Office (910 Vance Ave, Memphis TN 38126) and we will distribute accordingly. Thank you for supporting Girls Inc. of Memphis and for helping spread joy during this time of uncertainty.

Requirement Details

Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:

Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.
