Description
Volunteers needed for this very special food tasting event!

We'll need help with the following:
  • Event setup & breakdown
  • Supporting chefs & helping attendees navigate the event
  • Assisting attendees with using recycling & compost stations

This will be a one-of-a-kind tasting experience using food recovered from local farms and Kroger stores and featuring some of the city's most innovative chefs.
Attendees will experience firsthand how surplus food headed for the dumpster found its true calling on their plates.

When: October 20, 2019 (event runs from 2-5pm)
Location: River Garden at Mississippi River Park
Parking DetailsThere are several paid parking garages near Mississippi River Park, but none that are directly on Riverside Drive. Visit https://www.downtownmemphis.com/getting-around/parking/ for specifics. Please do not park in the Tennessee Visitor Center parking lot!
