Christian Brothers University September of Service Volunteer Project

Come and see a brand new section of the Wolf River Greenway, and help Wolf River Conservancy staff with restoring the habitat in the area!  We will do some light pruning, remove invasive plants, and clean up trash and other debris at John F. Kennedy Park (map link) to help maintain the aesthetics and safety of the surrounding neighborhood.

We will provide a limited number of gloves, handsaws, and loppers.  Please feel free to bring your own if you have them, especially pruning saws.

Please Note:  When working in wetland environments along the Wolf River and/or along the Greenway, you may encounter poison ivy, biting insects, hot/humid conditions, snakes, fast-traveling cyclists, and other hazards.  We encourage everyone to dress accordingly.
