About
The main duties for ushers are greeting patrons, passing out programs, checking tickets, helping patrons find seats, and light cleaning after the show. The big perk of ushering at Playhouse is you get to watch the performance you usher for free!
All Thursday, Friday and Saturday shifts are from 7:00-10:30pm.
All Sunday shifts are from 1:00-4:30pm
Note: There are NO performances on Sunday, April 21st and Saturday, April 27th

About the show:
Based on the iconic novel by George Orwell, 1984 brings us the story of Winston Smith, a cog in the giant machine state of Oceania. Under the close eye of Big Brother, Winston has been caught struggling for scraps of love and freedom in a world awash with distrust and violence. With the brutal "help" of four Party Members, Winston is forced to confess his Thoughtcrimes before an unseen inquisitor, and the audience - which acts as a silent witness to his torture.

Requirements
We keep a uniform dress code for our ushers. Please wear a white collared shirt (preferably one that can be tucked in) with some sort of sleeve, black pants or skirt below the knee, and black shoes are preferred. Uniform vests will be provided. No tennis shoes or sandals unless medically necessary.
